Fred Cachola

Fred Cachola regales us with stories of growing up in Halaula Camp and the families who lived near him. He shares anecdotes of his adventures being a young boy when the military came to the Hawai'i Island for training during World War II. He recounts his time at Kamehameha Schools and how the spirit of love of Kohala kept him going during the time he spent away form his home. Fred shares the importance of protecting the 'aina and continuing to share stores of Kohala for future generations.
